My corporate and entrepreneurial journey has been one of navigating how it is possible to get to the top in your industry without burning out, selling out, or losing out. My passion is passing those skills and tools onto other ambitious leaders who want to make a difference.

My deep fascination with human behavior and psychology began in high-school when I came across a video tape about body language, and something hit home about the power of communication and persuasion . That led me to pursue a degree in Organization/Interpersonal Communications and later an MBA in Marketing.

Graduating at the top of my class, I was immediately recruited and groomed for executive leadership roles in Fortune 500 companies with positions that spanned Business Development, Marketing and Finance at companies including Texaco, Williams Communications and Sealy.

In 2003, I ventured into entrepreneurship and built and sold multiple million dollar businesses in different industries with my primary role being leading field sales. I sold my last company so I could pursue coaching, speaking and training full time.

Since then, I have had the pleasure of sharing my message in front of stadiums of people, on national television, radio, podcasts and trained over 60,000 men and women on the topics of personal and professional development, leadership, business mastery, and sales.

In the current incarnation of my work, I am passionate about empowering Women in Leadership as I have had so many helpful mentors who contributed to my career’s success and fulfillment. I find that in traditional work settings women often don’t have the same network and support systems as men do, and I aim to change this for the better in my leadership work.

My proudest personal accomplishment, together with my husband of 22 years, is to have raised three sons to be extraordinary young men and leaders. We currently call North Carolina home.
