Hello, it’s nice to meet you, I’m Jim, the Founder of Burst Forward. 

My growth journey started back in 2003. 

I was sitting at a resort in Puerto Rico at my Oracle Sales ‘Club’ trip for making my quota that year. 

I should have been ecstatic—hanging out on the beach with a gorgeous room overlooking the ocean—but I wasn’t. 

I was miserable. 

I had the business card of a coach in my pocket, and called her up that day. 

That kicked off my journey into the world of personal growth and development. 

Even though I was successful by many measures—making my numbers in sales, and Ironman triathlete—I knew there was more for me. 

And that, I believe, is true for everyone. 

I work with high achieving executives, and their teams and organizations, who are looking to make an indelible mark in their industry. 

But there is something holding them back, and they don’t know what it is. 

I’ve now been at the nexus point of leadership development and personal growth for almost two decades. 

I started off my leadership career working at Oracle on a small team of Organizational Development experts servicing 50,000 employees throughout North America. 

I ran Oracle’s leadership programs, and did team interventions with VPs, SVP, and C-Level executives. 

This led me to start Burst Forward in 2011 to bring the knowledge and learning that I experienced in a large, successful organization, as well as the best personal development tools I could find, out into the greater market. 

I work mainly with startups, and mid-market companies who are looking to breakthrough to the next level of their success. 

I’ve now worked with over 10,000 leaders from all over the world, including North America, Central and South America, Europe, India and Asia, and with all of them, one thing stands true: 

Every leader has blindspots that are holding them back. 

These blindspots are living in the shadows, and can’t be seen by you. 

You need them reflected back to you from someone who has seen all the patterns out there, and can help you see what’s in the way of the next tier of your growth. 

Teams and organizations have blindspots too, and when they aren’t addressed, they will drag you down bad pathways, and could even lead to total implosion. 

Some leaders are proactive in their search for their blindspots and roadblocks, which accelerates them on their way to excellence, while others wait too long.
